About
This life style for your fitness,
not only diet

Our Passion is...
Helping people make sense of nutrition in relation to their health needs and desires. We take a holistic look at our clients stressors, both physical and emotional, and we work together to devise an individualized, behavior-based plan that is doable and enjoyable. All of our clients receive an in-depth evaluation of their current diet behaviors along with individualized nutrition education and goal setting. With our nutrition expertise, knowledge of the science and compassionate approach, we can guide you wherever you are on your nutrition journey.
Our Approach
A significant portion of my career has been spent in a bariatric surgery setting in which we helped prepare patients for weight loss surgery, while also guiding them through the process of continued weight loss.
We consider it a privilege to help individuals meet their weight and lifestyle goals in a plan we make together. The most important thing to me is knowing our clients are happy with the changes they are making to their life, and our ultimate goal is to put you in the driver’s seat of your health or weight loss plan.
We will walk together on this journey and find a plan that fits your everyday lifestyle. We practice evidence-based nutrition counseling which means we will advise you based on what science has PROVEN. We believe that all foods fit and we should never eliminate any food group in the name of “health.” Some techniques we will be using include mindful eating practices, meal prep and planning, goal setting, identifying your relationship with food, and implementing some physical activity. We have found that the majority of our clients are relieved to put dieting to rest and finally see the results they’ve been looking for.
Our Nutritionist

Meet Allie
MS, RD, LDN
I’m the owner of Nutro life and a married, working mom of two young adult children. From my own experiences over the past 20 years I am convinced proper behavior modification through nutrition therapy and body movement can change lives! My education includes receiving my MS, RD and LDN in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University and my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Kansas State University. I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Currently, I’m serving the community as Past President for the Knoxville Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and have been awarded the Outstanding Dietitian and Dietetic Educator of the Year. My work experiences include medical nutrition therapy for patients in the hospital and outpatient setting as well as school nutrition programs. For the past several years I have been solely devoted to working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, weight body image concerns, food sensitivities and hormone issues. I am a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and work with the athletic department to provide eating disorder services to student athletes.
Testimonial

“My experience with Hannah is always nice. Allie is so patient and always gives me alternative ways to think about food. Many times when I’m in “diet culture” mind, I tend to look down on myself. I am reminded by Allie that food and if I fall off I can get back up and try again. Hannah is very inspirational and her guidance is stellar. I’m very lucky to have her as my Nutritionist.”
